Dr. Sweeper Chimney Sweep has served New Jersey homeowners since 1982, and over those years we have helped thousands of customers keep their chimneys and fireplaces safe and working. Our office is at 65 Harristown Rd, Glen Rock, NJ 07452, and we work with homeowners throughout the state.
Who we are
We are a year-round chimney company with ten field technicians and two dedicated repair crews. That lets us handle chimney sweeping and cleaning, chimney inspection and chimney repair under one roof, so the people who find a problem are part of the team that fixes it.
How we work
We start with a careful look at the chimney, firebox and flue. We record what we find, explain it in plain language, recommend what the findings support, and carry out the work you approve. If a chimney is in good shape, we tell you so.
Chimney problems are often water problems that show up somewhere else, such as a stain on a ceiling or rust in the firebox. We look for the cause, not just the symptom.
Homeowner education
We believe an informed homeowner makes better decisions. Our approach to educating customers follows the Chimney Academy philosophy: explain what is happening and why, so you understand your options before any work begins.
